Physiotherapy for animals
Physiotherapy is defined as general stimulation or targeted treatment of disturbed physiological functions using natural forms of therapy. The aim is to improve quality of life, mobility and performance. This includes different therapeutic approaches from manual applications such as massages, mobilization, stretching and passive movement units. To complement and complement therapy, physical therapy is a great support and acceleration of healing processes. These include, for example, thermotherapy, laser therapy, electrotherapy or ultrasound therapy.
In order to generate complete rehabilitation, active movement therapy, propioception and coordination training and muscle building play a major role. A previous medical history and pre-diagnosis of a veterinarian is of great advantage here.
Physiotherapy and targeted muscle building training have also proven their worth in care in dog sports.
